The amendment strikes the underlying bill and its associated fiscal impact.
It allows the Department of Agriculture (DoAG) to enforce various federal agricultural standards.
DoAG has been awarded a five year grant in the amount of $3.6 million from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the implementation of certain aspects of the federal Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA).
