AN ACT REQUIRING CERTIFICATION OF PHLEBOTOMISTS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Public Health to establish certification requirements for phlebotomists.

Statement of Purpose:

To establish minimum standards for persons engaged in the profession of phlebotomy.
