Explanation

The bill may generate minimal General Fund revenue to the extent that state/national criminal background checks have been a barrier to individuals seeking licensure as a barber or hairdresser. The fee for an initial license is $100 and it is the same fee to renew a license biannually.

The Out Years

The annualized ongoing fiscal impact would continue into the out years to the extent that individuals that would not have sought licensure as a barber or hairdresser due to state/national criminal background checks now become licensed.
