S.B. No. 213 (RAISED) JUDICIARY . 'AN ACT CONCERNING THE INHERITANCE RIGHTS OF A BENEFICIARY OR SURVIVOR WHO IS FOUND NOT GUILTY OF MURDER OR MANSLAUGHTER BY REASON OF MENTAL DISEASE OR DEFECT', to: (1) Prohibit a person found not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect of causing the death of the deceased from benefiting from the estate of the deceased or from the deceased's life insurance policy or annuity, and (2) add the crimes of manslaughter in the second degree and manslaughter in the second degree with a firearm to the list of crimes for which the conviction of a beneficiary for such crime committed against the deceased disqualifies the beneficiary from benefiting from the estate of the deceased or from the deceased's life insurance policy or annuity.

S.B. No. 215 (RAISED) PROGRAM REVIEW AND INVESTIGATIONS . 'AN ACT CONCERNING APPRENTICESHIP EXPANSION BASED ON A PROGRAM REVIEW AND INVESTIGATIONS COMMITTEE STUDY', to expand the Labor Department's oversight of apprenticeship programs and to implement various federal models of apprenticeship in order to provide more opportunities for individuals to satisfy apprenticeship requirements, as recommended by the Program Review and Investigations Committee.

S.B. No. 216 (RAISED) PUBLIC HEALTH . 'AN ACT EXPANDING THE SALES TAX EXEMPTION TO INCLUDE FEMININE HYGIENE PRODUCTS AND DISPOSABLE OR REUSABLE DIAPERS', to provide an exemption from the sales tax for feminine hygiene products and disposable and reusable diapers.

S.B. No. 217 (RAISED) PUBLIC HEALTH . 'AN ACT CONCERNING THE STUDY OF THE PROVISION OF COMMUNITY-BASED HEALTH CARE SERVICES', to require the study of the effectiveness of providing community-based health care services to include cost savings to Medicaid and payment models for expanded services by emergency medical services personnel.

S.B. No. 218 (RAISED) PUBLIC HEALTH . 'AN ACT CONCERNING THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH'S RECOMMENDATIONS FOR REVISIONS TO THE STATUTES REGARDING HUMAN IMMUNODEFICIENCY VIRUS', to implement the Department of Public Health's recommendations for revisions to the statutes regarding human immunodeficiency virus.

S.B. No. 219 (RAISED) JUDICIARY . 'AN ACT CONCERNING PROBATE COURT OPERATIONS', to: (1) Provide a Probate Court with the ability to transfer a file when another Probate Court has jurisdiction over the file, (2) eliminate the requirement that the Probate Court provide notice of certain proceedings to the Commissioner of Revenue Services, (3) require a hearing for a person under voluntary representation who is without an attorney before a change of residence for such person occurs, (4) set forth additional activities that require a filing fee, (5) clarify who may be granted rights of visitation with a minor, (6) expand jurisdictional venue in certain Probate Court proceedings involving removal of guardian or termination of parental rights, and (7) expand the types of entities that may be appointed as a conservator.

S.B. No. 220 (RAISED) LABOR AND PUBLIC EMPLOYEES . 'AN ACT CONCERNING UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION APPEALS AND HEARINGS AND MINOR AND TECHNICAL REVISIONS TO THE GENERAL STATUTES RELATING TO THE LABOR DEPARTMENT', to make procedural changes to the unemployment compensation appeals and hearings process and to make minor and technical revisions to the general statutes affecting the Labor Department.

S.B. No. 222 (RAISED) LABOR AND PUBLIC EMPLOYEES . 'AN ACT CONCERNING THE REPEAL OF OBSOLETE REPORTS AND PROGRAMS INVOLVING THE LABOR DEPARTMENT', to remove obsolete, unnecessary and duplicative reports and programs contained in the general statutes that affect the Labor Department.

S.B. No. 223 (RAISED) LABOR AND PUBLIC EMPLOYEES . 'AN ACT CONCERNING EMPLOYEE WAGES AND DISCIPLINARY SUSPENSIONS FOR HARASSMENT OR WORKPLACE VIOLENCE', to allow businesses to pay employees once every two weeks without applying to the Labor Department for a waiver and to allow employers to deduct wages from a salaried employee who is suspended for workplace harassment or violence.
