Prayer was offered by the guest Chaplain, Mary Alice Hughes of Haddam, Connecticut.

His term is effective immediately and is for a period of 2 years, expiring June 30, 2017. His appointment is subject to the advice and consent of both chambers of the General Assembly after the next regular session begins in February 2016.

'AN ACT CONCERNING THE DISCLOSURE OF FEES FOR THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL AND COMMERCIAL RISK INSURANCE POLICY PREMIUM PAYMENTS', to require insurers to disclose to applicants and insureds any fees for the processing of premium payments for personal risk or commercial risk insurance policies.
