The amendment strikes the underlying bill and its associated fiscal impact.
The amendment states that the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) will not issue certificates or permits for docks or structures in certain areas. It also requires a person applying for a regulated activity, or a permit for dredging, to mail a notice to a landowner under certain circumstances. Additionally, it changes how and where certain types of bamboo may be planted, and changes requirements pertaining to noise-making devices.
Lastly, the amendment makes minor and technical changes to environment laws.
None of these provisions result in a fiscal impact.
