OFA Fiscal Note
POTENTIAL MINIMAL FISCAL IMPACT
The amendment removes prohibitions from operating a boat engaged in water skiing: (1) in a manner that causes wake to damage or injure people or property, or (2) if the aggregate number of water skiers and vessel occupants exceeds the carrying capacity of the vessel.
This may result in less revenue collected from violations, which is anticipated to be minimal (less than $500 annually).
