The amendment strikes the underlying bill and associated fiscal impact.
The amendment requires the Labor Department, in consultation with the Department of Economic and Community Development, to conduct a study related to various aspects of the minimum wage. It is anticipated that the Labor Department could utilize information currently collected and analyzed by state economists in the Office of Research to accomplish such task; thus, there is no fiscal impact.
