Explanation

The amendment allows the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) to charge a fee of not more than $20 for the purchase, sale, or exchange or snapping turtles. This is anticipated to result in a revenue gain of less than $15,000 annually.1

The amendment also results in other changes that do not result in a fiscal impact.
