AN ACT CONCERNING INNOVATION, ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND CONNECTICUT'S ECONOMIC FUTURE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to promote and foster a thriving culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in Connecticut, in part by continuing the angel investor tax credit under section 12-704d of the general statutes and expanding the applicability of such angel investor tax credit and other tax credits under the general statutes in order to establish Innovation Districts in Connecticut and support start-up businesses within such districts.

Statement of Purpose:

To promote innovation and entrepreneurship in Connecticut and enhance Connecticut's economic future.
