AN ACT REQUIRING THE SECRETARY OF THE OFFICE OF POLICY AND MANAGEMENT TO STUDY THE IMPACT OF IMPLEMENTING A FORTY-HOUR WORK WEEK FOR STATE EMPLOYEES.

SUMMARY:

The bill requires the Office of Policy and Management (OPM) to conduct a study of the impact of requiring all state employees to work a forty-hour work week. On or before October 1, 2016, OPM must report the findings of such study to the Appropriations and Labor and Public Employees committees.
