The House of Representatives was called to order at 11: 34 o'clock a. m. , Representative Johnson of the 49th District in the Chair.

SPEAKER JOHNSON:

The House of Representatives is now in session. Will all members and guests please rise and direct your attention to our guest chaplain, Mary Alice Hughes, of Haddam.

GUEST CHAPLIAN MARY ALICE HUGHES:

Let us pray. Heavenly Father, help us to be attentive to the matters placed before us. Give us the ability to accomplish many great things for Your people. Amen.

SPEAKER JOHNSON:

Mary Alice will also guide us in the Pledge of Allegiance.

MARY ALICE HUGHES:

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

SPEAKER JOHNSON:

Is there any business on the Clerk's desk?

THE CLERK:

Yes, Madam Speaker, the Clerk has a list of House favorable changes of reference to be referred to the committees indicated.

SPEAKER JOHNSON:

The Chair recognizes Representative Lemar of the 96th District.

REP. LEMAR (96th):

Thank you, Madam Chair.

I move that we waive the reading of the list of the -- of the House favorable changes of reference and the bills be referred to the committees indicated.

SPEAKER JOHNSON:

Is there an objection? Hearing no objection, it is so ordered.

THE CLERK:

And finally, Madam Speaker, the Clerk has List of Bills Number 27, dated February 19, 2015.

SPEAKER JOHNSON:

The Chair recognizes Representative Lemar of the 96th.

REP. LEMAR (96th):

Madam Speaker, I move that we waive the reading of the list of bills and the bills be referred to committees indicated.

SPEAKER JOHNSON:

Is there an objection? Hearing no objection, it is so ordered.

THE CLERK:

Madam Speaker, there is no further business on the Clerk's desk.

SPEAKER JOHNSON:

The Chair recognizes Representative Lemar of the 96th.

REP. LEMAR (96th):

Madam Speaker, there being no further business on the Clerks' desk, I move that we adjourn subject to the Call of the Chair.

SPEAKER JOHNSON:

Hearing no objections, the House stands adjourned subject to the Call of the Chair.
