"AN ACT CONCERNING SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND OPIOID OVERDOSE PREVENTION. "

Strike line 51 in its entirety

In line 52, strike "pain management,"

In line 53, after "substance abuse" insert ", including, but not limited to, prescribing controlled substances and pain management"

In line 167, after "upon" insert ", but in no event more than twenty-four hours after,"

In line 225, after the period insert the following:

"If such electronic drug prescription monitoring program is not operational, such prescriber may prescribe greater than a seventy-two-hour supply of a controlled substance to a patient during the time of such program's inoperability, provided such prescriber or such authorized agent reviews the records of such patient in such program not more than twenty-four hours after regaining access to such program."
