NO FISCAL IMPACT

The amendment strikes the underlying bill and its associated fiscal impact. The amendment is not anticipated to result in a cost to the state. The amendment requires the State Comptroller (OSC) to conduct a study regarding the integration of nonstate public employees, small employers, and nonprofit employers into the state employee and retiree health plan. Not later than January 1, 2016 OSC shall report to the General Assembly on their findings. OSC has conducted similar research and analysis into this area already.
