Explanation

The amendment strikes the language and associated fiscal impact in the underlying bill. It establishes an Infant and Toddler Services Board. It requires the board to study and provide recommendations for improving the policies and procedures related to protecting children from unexpected death or critical injury. There may be a cost of less than $1,000 in FY 16 and in FY 17 to those agencies participating on the board to reimburse legislators and agency staff for mileage expenses.
