AN ACT CONCERNING THE FACILITATION OF TELEMEDICINE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to (1) establish the minimum standards of practice while providing treatment or consultation through the use of telemedicine pursuant to section 20-9 of the general statutes, and (2) require certain health insurance policies to cover specific medical services provided through telemedicine pursuant to section 38a-469 of the general statutes.
Statement of Purpose:
To establish minimum standards of practice and health insurance coverage for telemedicine.
