AN ACT CONCERNING THE REGISTRATION AND MAINTENANCE OF FORECLOSED PROPERTIES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require mortgage lenders to (1) register any property that has been subject to mortgage foreclosure activity, (2) provide contact information with such registration, and (3) maintain the condition of the foreclosed property.

Statement of Purpose:

To require lenders to provide accurate contact information and to maintain the condition of any foreclosed property.
