Explanation

The bill expands mandatory reports of elder abuse to include certain emergency medical service providers. This provision is not anticipated to result in a fiscal impact as there have been no charges filed under the existing mandatory report of elderly abuse statute in the past 10 years.

Senate “A” strikes the language of the underlying bill and replaces it with language that results in the impact described above.

The annualized ongoing fiscal impact identified above would continue into the future subject to inflation.
