AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN BRANDY BY FARM WINERIES.
This bill allows a farm winery permittee to sell from its premises brandy made from grapes or other fruit grown on site but distilled off site. Under current law, a farm winery may not sell brandy it did not manufacture.
EFFECTIVE DATE: Upon passage
sSB 386 (§ 8), favorably reported by the General Law Committee, allows a farm winery permitee to sell from its premises brandy made from fruit harvested and distilled off site, but in Connecticut.
