OFA Fiscal Note
The bill strikes the language of the underlying bill and replaces it with language that does not result in a fiscal to the Department of Public Health. It allows advanced practice registered nurses (ARPNs) to practice without physician collaboration if they have graduated from an accredited nurse practitioner residency program. The bill does not alter APRN licensure or regulatory requirements of the Department.
