AMENDMENT

OFA Fiscal Note

ELIMINATES POTENTIAL MINIMAL REVENUE IMPACT

The amendment eliminates a civil penalty, created under Senate Amendment Schedule “A,” of not less than $1,000 and not more than $4,000 for each payment or transfer of value not reported by manufactures. This penalty may have resulted in minimal General Fund revenue gain to the extent that such manufacturers failed to report and were assessed a penalty.

The preceding Fiscal Impact statement is prepared for the benefit of the members of the General Assembly, solely for the purposes of information, summarization and explanation and does not represent the intent of the General Assembly or either chamber thereof for any purpose.
