The amendment requires the Commissioner of the Department of Public Health (DPH) to maintain certain information and make this information available to the public upon request. To the extent that this information is provided electronically there would be no fiscal impact to DPH from this requirement. Should this information need to be printed and mailed to certain individuals, DPH would incur a cost of less than $1 per request.
The change which requires that APRNs collaborate with a physician for not less than 3,000 hours or not less than three years, whichever is greater, before they may practice on their own does not result in a fiscal impact to DPH.
