Explanation

The amendment strikes section 4 of the underlying bill, which does not result in a fiscal impact.

The amendment may result in an annual cost of less than $1,000 to the State Employees' Retirement System (SERS) fund and the Municipal Employees' Retirement System (MERS) fund for travel related expenses for the additional seven commission trustees added by the amendment to the Retirement Commission. The amendment's provisions may require the approval of the State Employees' Bargaining Agent Coalition (SEBAC).
