AN ACT CONCERNING CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSCITATION CERTIFICATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. Section 19a-113a of the general statutes is repealed and the following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective October 1, 2014):
The Commissioner of Public Health shall adopt regulations, in accordance with chapter 54, requiring that persons who are employed as lifeguards shall be certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation by the American Heart Association, [or] the American Red Cross or the American Safety and Health Institute.
