OFA Fiscal Note
The amendment strikes the underlying bill and its associated fiscal impact. The amendment does not result in a fiscal impact to the state or municipalities as it maintains current coverage for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. However, it is uncertain what if any future impact the DSM-V will have on the coverage and services provided to individuals currently diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and therefore the impact to the state and municipalities, as the DSM-V has not been published.
