HB-6534

AN ACT CONCERNING GASOLINE VAPOR RECOVERY SYSTEMS.

AMENDMENT

LCO No.: 5707

File Copy No.: 430

House Calendar No.: 283

OFA Fiscal Note

MINIMAL FISCAL IMPACT

The amendment makes the provisions concerning the decommissioning of stage II vapor recovery equipment permissive instead of mandatory, and removes the date requirement. This change could reduce the cost to various state agencies and municipalities identified in the underlying fiscal note as there would no longer be one-time costs for this purpose.

In addition, the state agencies and municipalities that do not choose to decommission these systems would not realize any savings under the amendment.

The preceding Fiscal Impact statement is prepared for the benefit of the members of the General Assembly, solely for the purposes of information, summarization and explanation and does not represent the intent of the General Assembly or either chamber thereof for any purpose.
