OFA Fiscal Note
The amendment requires the applicant for a motor vehicle operator's license to perform two hundred and fifty hours of community service before obtaining a license. To the extent this reduces the number of individuals who are eligible for a motor vehicle operator's license, there may be a reduction in the cost to the Department of Motor Vehicles and an associated reduction in the amount of revenue collected.
