"Sec. 501. (Effective July 1, 2013) Not later than February 14, 2014, and February 13, 2015, the Board of Regents for Higher Education and the Board of Trustees for The University of Connecticut shall appear before the joint standing committees of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to higher education and appropriations to report regarding the operating budget for the current fiscal year, the actual expenditures and revenues and status of budgetary reserves to date for the current fiscal year, and the estimated expenditures and revenues through the end of the current fiscal year of each state university within the Connecticut State University System, each regional community-technical college, Charter Oak State College and The University of Connecticut. "
