AN ACT CONCERNING PERMITS FOR GUN SHOWS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 29-37g of the general statutes be amended to (1) create and establish criteria for a gun show permit, and (2) require that, prior to the commencement of a gun show, a gun show promoter obtain a gun show permit from the chief of police or, where there is no chief of police, the warden of the borough or the first selectman of the town in which the gun show is to take place.

Statement of Purpose:

To require permits for gun shows.
