AN ACT CONCERNING EMPLOYEE PRIVACY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prevent current or potential employers from requesting or requiring that employees or potential employees provide passwords to their personal accounts as a condition of their employment.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect employee privacy by barring employers or potential employers from requiring employees to provide passwords to their personal accounts as a condition of employment.
