AN ACT CONCERNING THE USE OF MUNICIPAL AUTOMATED TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT SAFETY DEVICES AT CERTAIN INTERSECTIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow any municipality with a population greater than forty-eight thousand to authorize, by ordinance, the use of automated traffic enforcement safety devices within such municipality to enforce the provisions of section 14-299 of the general statutes, concerning traffic control signals.
Statement of Purpose:
To authorize municipalities to use automated traffic enforcement safety devices.
