Explanation

The bill establishes a task force to consider issues of victim privacy as related to the Freedom of Information Act. There may be a cost of less than $1,000 in FY 14 to agencies participating in the task force to reimburse legislators and agency staff for mileage expenses.

The bill also modifies various provisions of the Freedom of Information Act. These modifications have no fiscal impact.

Senate “A” strikes the underlying bill and its associated fiscal impact resulting in the fiscal impact identified above.

The Out Years

The fiscal impact identified above will cease in FY 14 as the task force is required to submit its findings by January 1, 2014.
