Explanation

The amendment results in a potential cost to the Judicial Branch by indemnifying peace officers from liability, if they interfere with the recording of police activity while lawfully enforcing court rules and policies. If the peace officer was not working within the scope of authority and the conduct was willful, wanton, or reckless, then the officer would bear the financial obligations of the liability case.
