AN ACT CONCERNING THE USE OF CREDIT SCORES IN HIRING DECISIONS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to ban employers in nonfinancial industries from using credit scores in hiring decisions.

Statement of Purpose:

To increase job opportunities for individuals with some credit issues.
