REASONS FOR BILL:
See Joint Favorable Report from Aging
SUBSTITUTE LANGUAGE:
The substitute language strikes Section 3 of this bill because it is seen as a step backwards in the extensive discussions concerning smoking in building and restaurants. It will also be placing a costly burden on municipalities to build a climate controlled designated smoke area. It also includes the replacement of senior centers to senior center membership in line 7 of Section 1.
