Citizens' Election Fund - Revenue Loss
GF - Revenue Gain
Note: GF=General Fund
The amendment eliminates the Citizens' Elections Program. The Citizens' Election Fund (CEF) is projected to have a balance of $43 million on June 30, 2009. This amendment returns $43 million to the General Fund. In addition, this amendment would prevent approximately $18 million in FY 10 and FY 11 from being transferred to the CEF from unclaimed property. The CEF currently has 36 employees that would be impacted by this amendment.
