AN ACT ESTABLISHING THE CONNECTICUT HEALTHCARE PARTNERSHIP.
LCO No.: 8674
File Copy No.: 995
House Calendar No.: 225
Senate Calendar No.: 675
OFA Fiscal Note
The amendment requires the self-insured group health plan established by the underlying bill to comply with statutory reserve, net worth, and financial reporting requirements related to the sale of commercial insurance products. Given the state's system of modified cash basis accounting, it is unclear how the state would be impacted, if at all, in establishing a reserve for the self-funded group health plan.
