OFA Fiscal Note
The amendment requires the Department of Public Health to create regulations related to obstetrical ultrasounds and would result in a minimal cost to the agency for outside professional services.
Regulations to be created include: the maximum amount of time permitted for an elective diagnostic obstetrical ultrasound and the maximum number of elective diagnostic obstetrical ultrasounds that a woman may have during the course of a pregnancy.
