AN ACT PROHIBITING THE POSSESSION OF LARGE CATS AT PRIVATE RESIDENCES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the possession of any mammal of the felidae family weighing fifty pounds or more at a private residence.

Statement of Purpose:

To prohibit the possession of large cats such as lions, tigers and cougars at a private residence.
