AN ACT CONCERNING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS IN PACKAGE STORES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 30-20 of the general statutes be amended to allow the holder of a package store permit to conduct fee-based wine tastings and education on the premises of the package store, to require such permit holders who conduct such tastings and education to obtain an additional educational permit, and to grant the Commissioner of Consumer Protection authority to adopt appropriate regulations.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow package stores to charge a fee for certain wine tastings and classes.
