Explanation

This amendment exempts any operator of a child day care center or group day care home who cares for school-aged children in a public school building from physical plant requirements for licensure purposes. To the extent that this facilitates the licensure of any such program, the Department of Public Health will experience a minimal revenue gain associated with the collection of licensure fees (initial child day care center, $50; renewal child day care center, $200; initial group day care home, $30; renewal group day care home, $100) .

The preceding Fiscal Impact statement is prepared for the benefit of the members of the General Assembly, solely for the purposes of information, summarization and explanation and does not represent the intent of the General Assembly or either chamber thereof for any purpose.
