AN ACT EXPANDING THE SUBSIDIZED GUARDIANSHIP PROGRAM TO SIBLINGS OF CHILDREN LIVING WITH RELATIVE CAREGIVERS.
LCO No.: 7368
File Copy No.: 774
House Calendar No.: 594
OFA Fiscal Note
The amendment eliminates the bill and therefore precludes the potential minimal cost and revenue loss to the Department of Children and Families, and potential minimal savings to the Department of Social Services as described in the original fiscal impact statement.
The amendment makes changes concerning the rights of certain prospective adoptive parents, relative caregivers and foster parents to be heard in proceedings involving a foster child. These changes conform with current practice and will result in no fiscal impact to either the Department of Children and Families or the Judicial Department.
The preceding Fiscal Impact statement is prepared for the benefit of the members of the General Assembly, solely for the purposes of information, summarization and explanation and does not represent the intent of the General Assembly or either chamber thereof for any purpose.
