AN ACT CONCERNING THE FEASIBILITY OF ESTABLISHING A TEXT BOOK RENTAL PROGRAM FOR CONNECTICUT'S PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the Department of Higher Education be required to study the feasibility of establishing a text book rental program for Connecticut's public institutions of higher education and that the department shall report its findings to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to higher education not later than December 31, 2007.

Statement of Purpose:

To require to study the feasibility of establishing a text book rental program for Connecticut's public institutions of higher education.
