REASONS FOR BILL:

Portions of the Connecticut General Statutes would benefit from technical corrections, and faculty members of institutions of higher education are not free to collaborate on projects that support research, business development, and consulting.

Supports the bill, suggesting that the anticipated peak of the current enrollment surge (2008) and specific faculty needs be considered in developing final legislation.
