RESOLUTION PROPOSING AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION OF THE STATE CONCERNING THE RECOGNITION OF MARRIAGE.

Resolved by this Assembly:

That the Constitution of the state be amended to provide that it is the policy of the state of Connecticut, and its political subdivisions, that only a marriage between one man and one woman shall be valid or legally recognized as a marriage.

Statement of Purpose:

To amend the state constitution to recognize only marriages between one man and one woman.
