REAPPORTIONMENT COMMISSION

MEETING MINUTES

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 30, 2001

10:00 AM in Hearing Room 2B

I. The meeting was called to order at 10:10 a.m. by Speaker Moira K. Lyons.

The following members were present:

Nelson Brown

Senators: Louis C. DeLuca 32; Joseph J. Crisco, Jr. 17; David J. Cappiello 24

Representatives: Moira K. Lyons 146; Robert M. Ward 86; Melody A. Currey 10;

Arthur J. O’Neill 69

Absent: Senator Kevin B. Sullivan 5

A motion was made by Representative Currey and seconded by Representative O’Neill to recess

the meeting subject to the call of the chair. Speaker Lyons recessed the meeting at 10:11 a.m.

Speaker Lyons reconvened the Reapportionment Commission meeting at 11:50 p.m.

II. Approval of the November 29, 2001 Commission Meeting Minutes

A motion was made by Representative Ward and seconded by Representative Currey to

approve the November 29, 2001 Commission Meeting Minutes. The motion was approved

by a unanimous voice vote of the commission.

III. Plan Adoption

A motion was made by Representative Currey and seconded by Representative Ward to adopt

The House of Representatives Redistricting Plan Geography Report. The motion was approved

by a vote of 8 to 0 and 1 absent (roll call attached).

There was no Congressional District plan approved.

A motion was made by Representative O’Neill and seconded by Representative Currey to adjourn the

meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 11:52 p.m.
