MEETING MINUTES
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER
29, 2001

I. The meeting was called to order at 10:08 a.m. by Senator Louis C. DeLuca.
The following members were present:

Representatives: Moira K. Lyons 146; Robert M. Ward 86; Melody A. Currey 10;
Arthur J. O’Neill 69
II. Approval of November 26, 2001 Commission Meeting Minutes.
A motion was made by Speaker Lyons and seconded by Representative Currey to approve the November 26, 2001 Commission Meeting Minutes. The motion was approved by a unanimous voice vote of the commission.
Representative Ward moved to recess the meeting subject to the call of the chair. Senator DeLuca recessed the meeting at 10:10 a.m.
Senator DeLuca reconvened the Reapportionment Commission meeting at 6:42 p.m.
III. Plan Adoption
A motion was made by Representative Ward and seconded by Speaker Lyons to adopt the map of the revised House districts. The motion was approved by a vote of 8 to 0 and 1 absent (roll call attached).
Speaker Lyons and Representative Ward thanked the commission members and staff for the long hours they endured and felt the end product was fair, balanced and they achieved their goal.
A motion was made by Speaker Lyons and seconded by Representative Ward to adjourn the meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 6:50 p.m.
