              PUBLIC ACT NO. 98-120


AN  ACT  RECOGNIZING  PHARMACISTS  AS  HEALTH CARE
PROVIDERS.


    Be  it  enacted  by  the  Senate  and House of
Representatives in General Assembly convened:
    Subdivision  (17)  of  section  20-571  of the
general statutes is repealed and the following  is
substituted in lieu thereof:
    (17)  "Pharmacist"  means an individual WHO IS
licensed to practice pharmacy under the provisions
of  section  20-590, 20-591, 20-592 or 20-593, AND
WHO  IS  THEREBY  RECOGNIZED  AS  A  HEALTH   CARE
PROVIDER BY THE STATE OF CONNECTICUT.
