               PUBLIC ACT NO. 98-97


AN   ACT  CONCERNING  THE  INTERSTATE  COMPACT  ON
PAROLEE SUPERVISION.


    Be  it  enacted  by  the  Senate  and House of
Representatives in General Assembly convened:
    (NEW) (a) No  person  who has been released on
parole by any  other  state that is a party to the
compact set forth in section 54-133 of the general
statutes and for whom permission to reside in this
state is required  pursuant to subparagraph (B) of
subdivision (1) of subsection (a) of said section,
may reside in this state unless granted permission
by this state as provided in said subparagraph.
    (b)  Any person who violates the provisions of
this section shall be guilty of a class D felony.
