              PUBLIC ACT NO. 97-253


AN ACT CONCERNING TRUANCY.


    Be  it  enacted  by  the  Senate  and House of
Representatives in General Assembly convened:
    (NEW)  (a) The Chief Court Administrator shall
designate  a  docket  separate  from   the   other
juvenile   matters  for  the  hearing  of  truancy
matters and petitions filed  pursuant  to  section
46b-149 of the general statutes in court locations
throughout the state.
    (b)   The   Chief  Court  Administrator  shall
establish policies  and  procedures  to  implement
such truancy docket.
